Since they were mentioned, I don't think either Spezza or Perry are wanting MTL, but at cheap rates on one year deals, both would likely help the pp and can play responsible but slow hockey down the lineup. Not ideal but if either would go cheap on a one year there isn't a huge downside, especially if a winger is traded for that elusive LD

you have to divide the total amount by 5.
so if you offer 9.5M x 5, you are correct this offer is good.
but 7 x 9.5 = 67.5
/5 makes 13M per, compensation is 4 1st
